Am I the only one seeing this?

So after some years of not being able to see the shit you guys fly, I decided to fix all dem errors. Honestly was there a lack of creativity when it came to colors? Main point: is this hornet supposed to look like this?

In all seriousness, that is an irritating problem. What STP were you trying to use, or did it reject all of them?

Actually, I've had the issue in the OCP Sandy, as well as the Mossie. What I was expecting was that my friend couldn't spawn in a stock Red Arrow at RW10_01, Misawa. I think she was on the 2013 version.

Seems it's all the stps with most of the 49th stuff.

See that's weird really. What map and what server version is being run? Does it happen on air starts or only ground starts?

I think the 171st server is on 2011, right?

Both for the Sandy and Mossie. Though at one point I was unable to spawn anywhere in a stock F-18E. Perhaps we should use a new and clean version of Hawaii/Tohoku/North Kyusyu?

I think I've figured it out. The pack uses the weapon shape dat item, and the version of YS running on the server predates that feature, and so is getting hung up on it.

Tonight we returned to the 2013 version, because map changes had no effect, so I assume that things should run okay now.

Yeah, but I reckon that it's better than dealing with spawn issues.

With some time, we may be able to hunt down and weed out all the modern features to let us actually run these planes on the old YS, but for now, whatever we do will be a sub-par compromise.

This scheme was intended to break up the silhouette of the fighter and disrupt a pilot's ability to discern whether they were looking at the top or bottom of the aircraft, as well as interfere with the ability to eyeball the direction in which the craft was travelling, making it harder to lead the target. As VFA-22 was serving at the time as an Agressor squadron within the carrier wing, the scheme of those craft was deliberately different to visually distinguish them as "not ours"
